and was the first time i see so many people outside brisbane too...
and so i ended 2009 and started 2010 here.2009 past in a blink of an eye, the whole year was spent working, learning and gaining precious life experiences.

A peak into 2009...
Jan
Started the year in Korea, seen my first real snow in my life in Milan and where i went on my leaves and spend first long break since i started my job in 2008
Feb
First time i stepped onto Maldives, to me that's one of the prettiest place on Earth
March
My first encounter with one of the seven wonders of the world, Pisa. Even though we spent hours travelling there from rome (where we landed), all efforts were worth it. The building is amazingly pretty and well preserved.
April
The month where i visited south Africa twice
and fell really sick on my second visit. But well, this was also the time i felt the true meaning of the chinese phrase " you have to depend on friends, when u are outside" the care and concern showered by the colleagues did lessen my pain then.
May
First time to San franisco where i went crazy shopping
June
celebrated weeks of birthday with friends as well as 1 year anniversary with dearie
July
second time i did moscow-houston
and met a very fun loving bunch of colleagues, one of my happiest flight :)
went on holiday to Korea with tiffy love too
August
Tokyo holiday with dearie . The best thing is i had a human street directory with me. I always enjoyed going out esp touring with dearie, cuz i never need to use my brain nor afraid of getting lost. hee. one of the happiest time of the year.
September
Visited the magnificent Pyramid in Egypt that many have been longing to see.
October
First time to London and caught the sight of the REAL london eye. close up!
November
Greece welcomed me and hugged with metheir lovely mountainsss and islandsss
December
Spent xmas in amsterdam with dearie
and ended my year in brisbane

Alright that's it, these sum-ed up my fruitful 2009. The year wasnt exactly smooth but good enough. at least when i look back next time i can honestly tell myself, I DIDNT WASTE MY LIFE.

Looking at the beauitful skyline of Singaporesuddenly i feel so proud of my country
i rem just a little more than a decade ago, when asked to draw a picture of Singapore during art lesson, my printings will always be the merlion, the highways and what else... the different races in sg. I guess things will be really different if we present this theme to the students these days
Somehow, the country has developed into a really sophisicated and beautiful city
