Few months ago i saw this boy about 4-5 years old at my blockadorable, cutie, big eyed ( most close frds should know i like big eyes boys... yes MAN included) Okay that's not the important part.i was in uniform then, tired after long hours of work going home. But the boy wasnt much affected by my tireness, in fact he was so excited to see me ( a total stranger). One hand, dragged by his mummy. the other pointing at me excitedly."mummy, XX girl!!!!" he actually recognises the uniform, for a 4-5 yr old boy, i was pretty surprised.N so i smile n wave a goodbye to him.Everytime the bf see this kind of scene he will remind me how much i've inspired." see... because of u they will grow up to become part of the company"
True enough, when i was on my way out today the lift door opens n in it was a couple. I entered, smiled but didnt care much n reached for the "CLOSE" button. N guess what? The tiny boy was standing next to the buttons ( okay, he was so short that i didnt even realised he was there) holding the "OPEN" for me. i thanked him n continue searching for my MP3 to occupy my journey to the train station. When the lift reaches the ground floor, the little boy rushed to hold the "OPEN" before i could do it for him, Just as i was much surprised by how well bought up this boy is, i thought his actions look familar ( we were taught to hold doors for everyone in training school) well this time, he didnt just stood there. He actually spoke to me."where are you going???" he questionedThe mummy who was in the lift smiled" is she going shopping???"
as if to lessen the embarrassement of her son asking me (a total stranger) such a question.I turned back n smiled at the little boy. He was elated, waving a goodbye at me as if hoping i'll say something.N i returned it with a wave n a "bye!"From the corner of my eyes, i saw a boy grinning from ears to ears.N i know i had made a boy's day.
