Sorry to keep u guys waiting....for like 2 years. If u dont know what i am talk about, please refer to this post.

well, someone * waving to mei* dug out that post and demanded for an "explanation" LOL
that explains how this post comes about.
To start off, i'm not exactly skinny just not FAT. N i've been maintaining the current weight of 46-48kg ( though i wish i am lighter ) for a good period, since secondary school days? It was in 2008 that i got a little off track and the weight shot up to over 50, but i've since brought it down, and maintaining it on my average. I hope it can stay like this till i get old :)
Over the years, i've tried many different methods of dieting, eating pills, eating replacement meals, eating energy bars only blah blah blah, u name it i tried it. N i've concluded that the most effective, easy and healthy method is the one i'm going to share below.
Each individual varies, so u have to try until u get the best method, afterall i tried 10 years too.

1) eat only when u are hungry!
and in small portions, like at work i'll only eat half the portion of my food and at times i'll just take the meat, at home is likewise too. I usually dont finish my carbos :)

2) take 5 meals a day!
and eat each n everytime u are hungry. In this sense it also "assures" ur body u will have food as n when u are hungry. hence, the body will not try to store them too. If u didnt know, i suffer from very bad gastric for many years, this 5 small meal method ( sometimes i'll have more, depends on the how my body "communicates" with me) actually helps best. i used to have at least an attack every week, but it doesnt come even once a month these days unless i'm inobedient n delay my eating when i get hungry :) Besides, the method gives the body energy and keep u looking fresh too as sugar level is kept high throughout the day.
Just be very careful, sometimes ur body may confuse thrist with hunger, to prevent overeating, drink a glass of water everytime u feel hungry, if u dont feel the hunger after that it's just cuz ur body is thristy. Try it, n tell me if i'm right? cuz it works for me :)

3) Eat whatever u like!
totally eliminating on certain things, eg sugar or carbo will only make u crave for it more and cause u to overeat on other food. I've really sweet tooth. I love chocolates, chocolate cakes, bubble teas, ice cream!!!! As sinful as it sounded, i still eat them. but in small bits, very often i'll get someone to share my sinfulness ( hee, the bf is always the victim) or just have half the ice cream and throw the rest away. Yes i know it's wasteful, but isnt it sensible to just waste half the ice cream than waste more money slimming down??? N it satisifies my cravings too :)
Meal wise, i dont choose what i eat usually ( i used to calculate calories, but not anymore) i want to enjoy my food, just eat whatever i want but in small portion or less frequent. That's it :) I've heard ppl who stop eating rice or bread or ... totally, but how often can that diet last. Till u die??? n if u dont do it till u die, can u maintain that current weight when u start eating those rice back? To me, its just unrealistic dieting. I'm speaking from personal experience.

4) Drink water!
whenever possible, by replacing most of ur sugary drink by water will help u lose weight drastically. when i just started working, i only drank orange juice ( thinking it's healthy) at work and with all the artifical sugar added, i put on 3-4 kg in on time, it was later that i stopped drinking these orange Juice totally, that my weight "recovered" So if u have been drinking these sugary drinks daily try to cut down and u will see "miracle", i promise!!!

4) Cereals as late night supper!
if u are like me, who get hungry 18989078967 times a day. Cereals will save u alot of hassle and calories. It's not only healthy but tasty too :)
buy alot of different flavour cereals ( i love those with dried fruits) and mix them together so u wont get bored of eating the same thing eg. honey stars for a month, till the pack depletes. It's great bedtime food for me, yes i dont care what??? cant eat after 8pm :) If u r thinking i've got great genes or high metabolism inherited. NO I DONT! both my parents are overweight and my elder bro is chubby. i think it takes me more effort to stay the way i am than the average gal my age

5) Exercise!
Do i have to emphasis again how important it is to exercise? we all know that dont we?I force myself to exercise at least once a week no matter how busy i'm ( unless i'm sick) , alternating between cycling and jogging. These days, exercise is no longer just to maintain weight, it's also to stay healthy so that i dont fall sick so easily ( close frds should know how sickly i'm. LOL), to build a heathier lungs and to stay young :)

Okay, all said. Rem dont ruin ur body by taking pills or deprieving urself of food. I did that before and is still trying to pay back till now :)
