Back from a long day at work
Tired, but feeling really good.
cuz i get to meet many different people again, and took some time to speak to a few.
I'm a talkative animal ask me to shut my mouth for one day
i'll think i'm becoming mute.

Growing up, i always get comments like...
"She is a ..... ( usually a good one here) student but really talkative....." in my report card.
i used to think it's a bad remark ( cuz good students dont talk that much) but i'm begining to think otherwise. In fact, i'm loving my ability to put my thoughts into words and deliver it in a way people like and achieve the effect i want. It makes life alot more easier and happier i guess.

In relationship, i often ask " how come u dont talk to me?"
and 90% of the time the answer is
"because you talk too much."
well, i dont think it's bad, cuz to me communication is essential to understand or make someone understand you better.

Friends around me know how i can yack nonstop for hours.
and if we are close enough, a shopping session together will often end up at the cafe talking till the cows come home...

For now, i'm loving the fact that i get to do my favourite " activity" at work, and even get credits for it. isnt it like...the best of both world? okay, for now i'm gonna rest my mouth ( and fingers too) cuz i gonna use it more when i meet up with sister maddie tml. Cant wait! Nitez lovelies.

4 more days till the bf comes home
4 more days till i get to doll up for hollween
6 more days till i catch up with Lewis in Holland
12 more days till i see Elizabeth in Milan!!!!!!! wohohoho

Caught up with mad over the phone this morning ( till afternoon).
Havent been on the phone for so long since school days.
It's amazing how we can continue to chat non stop for hours.
As we grow older, we get busier, but there are some who are worth spending time on.

Dinner was with Aloy and other half. One of the few great friends i found at work.

The bf is away and i'm missing him especially much today. It'll be another one week till we get to meet each other again :( i was browsing thru photos of the happy days we spent during our holiday last month and decided to get them uploaded, but only managed the first day.

Well, i promise it will be up bit by bit...

Day One

as usual i brought my kitty and my magazine to accompany me thru ( or at least half) the journey. I've just came back from work the day before, packed my luggage for the next 10 days, and set off for my destination, a disgusting 20+ hours away, for those who dont alr know i hate being at the same place for too long, even worst when i was "trapped" in the same position.

on the other hand, staying in position, is the bf's forte :)

And after hours of "torture" We finally arrived at Los Angeles airport

and our first meal.... McDonald's

and never did we expect that, it's gonna be our regular meal for the next 10 days.

Hello everyone!!!
yes, that's how i look like now.
Rebonded my hair a few weeks ago in taiwan cuz i'm keeping my hair longer and the ends arent behaving themselves, and i reckon rebonding is the fastest way to solve my problem :) Paid only like 80 sgd to rebond, trim and treat my hair. Plus i walked into the salon at like 9+pm and the stylist OT alone until like past midnight just to get my hair done. Something that will never happen in sg... sad to say.

After a month of "rehabilitation" i finally get to step out of the house for some good food

japanese food my all time favourite.

Ask any close friend, they will know if i have a choice, i'll only have japanese food whenever i'm here. Tell me where else in the world sells better japanese food than sg at the same cost? Yes Japan sells them better but at a NICER price too. So please go ahead and enjoy you sashimi here :)

Hello!!! is anyone still reading?
I've been trying to upload my outdated pics for the longest time, keep facing problem with blogger. I reckon if i have to wait for those pics to be up, i'll never be blogging again. So here is this post before i try to upload another post with pics.
so what have i been doing all these while?
i went on a amazing trip to Los Angeles then Las Vegas, almost didnt want to come back.
Told like 1000+ pics, most of which is alr up on my facebook.
Started work almost immediately ( tell me how not to have withdrawal sydrome?)
and been working n working n working till now.
Already back to the job for almost a month and i'm still missing Vegas and Disney, it's like dream come true to my little fantasy land :) But i'm not complaining about work yet, cuz i've been going around with wonderful people and familar faces, that makes work a little more fun.
Manage to "conquer" the mussels in Paris with sista aloy, Taiwan rendezvous with Paulynn, Visited Alan in Zurich, London shopping with Valerie. oh ya and not forgetting celebrated sweet sis Madeliene Koh's bday on 10.10.10 :)

I've many more plans coming up end oct and nov. really excited.
In case i couldnt "come back" to blogger by end oct.

been a while since u last saw me?

my hair's growing already isnt it?

yes, i'm in the process of growing my hair back, itchy backside ya? but i never regret it. it was a good change, plus my short hair doesnt drop so much ( did i mentioned i had a nightmare one day seeing my hair slowly balding?? totally freak me out!!!!)

okay back to the pictures, i'm with my batchies in London now ( yes, like again right?? but i dont mind a single bit, n i'm coming again next week) it is like the first time in 2 yrs that i get to travel with them. totally love it. it doesnt seem so much of a work. and obviously, we get to camwhore....

buy the bf's magazines and pack some UK snacks back, they have so much yummy snacksss. woooh!!! It's the simple things that i enjoy. plus the people here speaks ENGLISH!!! omg! that's so important. of cuz i love shanghai even more :)

Been a while since i had a good break from work, like totally dont need to care what time i need to wake up tml, if i've had enough sleep bla bla bla. that feels great isnt it? Okay, i'm offically out-of-work for the next 8 days, and i've so much in plan. booking for my holiday, trip to the hairdresser, facialist, masssue, nail salon .... and the list goes on. N i've promised the bf to spend more time with him, look who is complaining now? well, i'm feeling real bad having worked so hard for the past few months, hack the money. i just DONT FEEL LIKE WORKING NOW. so if u miss me, date me out so a coffee or two :)

i fell sick ( like again?) lately, cuz i've been working really hard.
London- Paris-London-Paris.
believe it or not, i've visited London at least 3 times for last month and i'll be heading there again next month. Paris last month, then next month again. As such, i've dropped the idea ( or was it my sponsor's idea?) of a Paris holiday come september. the Bf decided we should just head down to LA, i think it's pretty cool too, consider i havent been there for a really long while :(
like a newbie, i'm all excited emailing the hotel asking for room rates, changing my work shift so that i can have a longer break ( for now i just have an official 9 days) to tour LA, if i manage to get a longer break we may just drive up to vegas too. How cool is it?

My objective of this trip is of course to conquer the LAX disneyland, so i can get one step nearer to accomplishing my "around the world disneyland" wish, was talking to a colleague about my trip and she was so fascinated and insisted i should try out this SIX FLAGS MAGIC MOUNTAIN in LA, she even spoke in tears as she recalled how exciting the rides were. throwing her horizontally ( face down) down the roller coasters.

i came back goggling, and confirmed.

OMG! these people are crazy!
It's definitely NOT FOR US.

The first thing Hazel told me that day when she saw me was

that somehow woke me up, i used to be so afriad of the sun, the tan...

and this summer, i've been under the sun abit TOO much.

So from now onwards it will be back to the no-outdoor-activity life, yes for the sake of beauty i've to forgo my active lifestyle and get back to indoor sport :(

well, it isnt going to be all bad, cuz the bf has promised to accompany with my favourite sport- badminton. I havent played the game for years cuz there is no one to play with and the bf is a all outdoor person, so i was kinda happy when he agree to go indoor ( maybe to makeup for all my time cycling under the sun with him. LOL)

2 weeks ago i visited

Maldives again

for the 2nd time this month

BUT this time round it was more interesting cuz i tried snorkelling for the first time!

and was so fastinated by the marine life

Many should know, i am really active but i hate the tan and have really sensitive skin ( yes all over the body)

So for many years i've stayed away from the sea water till i found out that it is actually good for the skin :) So on that "fateful" day, i met a colleague who has a diving cert ( kinda make me feel more secure) and willing to bring me out to the big big sea....

i got so excited when i was in it.

For the first time in my life, i got so up close with....

I seriously feel really bad after receiving all the birthday sms and wishes on FB.

u know i've really bad memory when it come to dates, the number of bday sms-es i send out every year can be counted with one hand ( so if u received one, count urself lucky). And the fact that i havent been around most of the time, oh well, i've decided to put a little more efforts on each and every precious around me and at least send them a heartwarming msg on their speacial day. u know those orange yolk u see in those japanese ramen, those are the authentic ones. It's so much more yummy than the yellow ones here. i dont know how they do it, but their super market actually sell cooked ( hard boiled) and uncooked ones, so for convenient sake i'll always get those cook ones for my instant noodles ( when there is really a need for me to have them)

so my plain cup noodles now comes with an egg.

was a hot day ytd. And before the day ended USS was already filled with smell of perspiration. eeekkkk.... If u wanna head there soon, u got to have someone experience with summer days theme park to teach u some skills ( self praising ) so that u wont end your day odourously wet. If u wanna ask for some honest opinion.

Yes, the theme park was small. But it was worth the money! Afterall, 66 bucks entrance fee comes with $15 free vouchers ( for the month of may only), if u do the math, it's just a little more than $50 bucks for a whole day of FUN! The bf who conquered 3 universal studios out of 5 commented that the shows here, are the best! YES! HERE in Singapore!

well, someone * waving to mei* dug out that post and demanded for an "explanation" LOL

that explains how this post comes about.

To start off, i'm not exactly skinny just not FAT. N i've been maintaining the current weight of 46-48kg ( though i wish i am lighter ) for a good period, since secondary school days? It was in 2008 that i got a little off track and the weight shot up to over 50, but i've since brought it down, and maintaining it on my average. I hope it can stay like this till i get old :)

Over the years, i've tried many different methods of dieting, eating pills, eating replacement meals, eating energy bars only blah blah blah, u name it i tried it. N i've concluded that the most effective, easy and healthy method is the one i'm going to share below.

Each individual varies, so u have to try until u get the best method, afterall i tried 10 years too.

1) eat only when u are hungry!

and in small portions, like at work i'll only eat half the portion of my food and at times i'll just take the meat, at home is likewise too. I usually dont finish my carbos :)

2) take 5 meals a day!

and eat each n everytime u are hungry. In this sense it also "assures" ur body u will have food as n when u are hungry. hence, the body will not try to store them too. If u didnt know, i suffer from very bad gastric for many years, this 5 small meal method ( sometimes i'll have more, depends on the how my body "communicates" with me) actually helps best. i used to have at least an attack every week, but it doesnt come even once a month these days unless i'm inobedient n delay my eating when i get hungry :) Besides, the method gives the body energy and keep u looking fresh too as sugar level is kept high throughout the day.

Just be very careful, sometimes ur body may confuse thrist with hunger, to prevent overeating, drink a glass of water everytime u feel hungry, if u dont feel the hunger after that it's just cuz ur body is thristy. Try it, n tell me if i'm right? cuz it works for me :)

3) Eat whatever u like!

totally eliminating on certain things, eg sugar or carbo will only make u crave for it more and cause u to overeat on other food. I've really sweet tooth. I love chocolates, chocolate cakes, bubble teas, ice cream!!!! As sinful as it sounded, i still eat them. but in small bits, very often i'll get someone to share my sinfulness ( hee, the bf is always the victim) or just have half the ice cream and throw the rest away. Yes i know it's wasteful, but isnt it sensible to just waste half the ice cream than waste more money slimming down??? N it satisifies my cravings too :)

Meal wise, i dont choose what i eat usually ( i used to calculate calories, but not anymore) i want to enjoy my food, just eat whatever i want but in small portion or less frequent. That's it :) I've heard ppl who stop eating rice or bread or ... totally, but how often can that diet last. Till u die??? n if u dont do it till u die, can u maintain that current weight when u start eating those rice back? To me, its just unrealistic dieting. I'm speaking from personal experience.

4) Drink water!

whenever possible, by replacing most of ur sugary drink by water will help u lose weight drastically. when i just started working, i only drank orange juice ( thinking it's healthy) at work and with all the artifical sugar added, i put on 3-4 kg in on time, it was later that i stopped drinking these orange Juice totally, that my weight "recovered" So if u have been drinking these sugary drinks daily try to cut down and u will see "miracle", i promise!!!

4) Cereals as late night supper!

if u are like me, who get hungry 18989078967 times a day. Cereals will save u alot of hassle and calories. It's not only healthy but tasty too :)

buy alot of different flavour cereals ( i love those with dried fruits) and mix them together so u wont get bored of eating the same thing eg. honey stars for a month, till the pack depletes. It's great bedtime food for me, yes i dont care what??? cant eat after 8pm :) If u r thinking i've got great genes or high metabolism inherited. NO I DONT! both my parents are overweight and my elder bro is chubby. i think it takes me more effort to stay the way i am than the average gal my age

5) Exercise!

Do i have to emphasis again how important it is to exercise? we all know that dont we?I force myself to exercise at least once a week no matter how busy i'm ( unless i'm sick) , alternating between cycling and jogging. These days, exercise is no longer just to maintain weight, it's also to stay healthy so that i dont fall sick so easily ( close frds should know how sickly i'm. LOL), to build a heathier lungs and to stay young :)

Okay, all said. Rem dont ruin ur body by taking pills or deprieving urself of food. I did that before and is still trying to pay back till now :)

Weather freaking hot these days!!!

i totally have no mood to go out before evening, so i've been living like a vampire going out only after the sunset to look for food... LOL. I was on the train few days ago, though my destination was only a stop away, i already noticed all the makeupsss melting on the gals, the perspiration filled hair sticking on people's forehead, the sweat soaked Ts OMG! kill me pleaseee!!!!

I rem a teacher once told me, the best friends u ever make in your life will be those whom u met in your school days, those who u spent the most time mugging, joking, laughing, crying with.

More than a decade after, i've to admit, she is right.

Somehow i miss those days in school where i had lots of familar faces surrounding me everyday

lots of joy and laughters, and i know very well who these people were. There was nothing i couldnt say nor talk about.

These days, everyone is busy with their lives, myself included. How often do we really get to meet up with close friends? Besides, when we finally get to meet, many things could have already happened which make the r/s distant.

so i concussed the whole 12 hours...

woke up feeling fresh

just that the stupid zit is still on my face ( i've a big pimple on my face after my milan trip, thanks to the weather) but good news is my pimple gel seems to be winning the battle, the ugly red thing is getting smaller smaller...smaller... LOL

Well, i promised pictures of day 2 in Milan.

actually it's not day2 in milan, just the 2nd day i went out, so i called it day2 :)

was plestering Wayne to bring me to the factory outlet on the first day. YES! factory outlet in europe selling cheap ( or rather cheaper) Prada, Dior, Gucci, Burberry, Fendi... bla bla bla... arent u excited alr???? Okay, he told me he didnt wan to go cuz he didnt wan to spend anymore money.

So ur friend here had no choice but called the idea off. Cuz this factory outlet is located at the border of switzerland (yes, we have to cross over from italy) and if u know how good my sense of

direction is... LOL. There is no way i can travel there all by myself.

To cut the story short, i later found a colleague who is willing too bring this poor gal there, for the first time!! Imagine how happy i was?

So after work that day, we disembarked on our journey...

Here at the travel agency, we bought our coach ticket ( cost us 20euro each) to..
the Fox town :)

the bus was already there waiting for us, we were like just in time

For those who plan to go there there, u may like to know that the bus will send u there daily at 2pm and back at 7pm. There is only 1 trip and 1 bus, if u miss it, THAT's IT!

and after a long 1 hr plus ride, we finally arrived at..
There are lots and lots of brands in there. 4 hours is just not enough
i didnt managed to comb all the shops in there, we just went straight to the brands that we are interested. Some pics of the outlet stores...

They are exactly like the boutiques, just that prices are slashed and u may be able to find some past seasons stuffs at a better price :) No not those defective ones. Didnt manage to take much pics in there cuz we were busy shopping. I was quite discipline, only bought what i needed n really like, but zul wasnt. LOL... so in a way i got her to go, but she spent more than me. well, they are good buys though.

Was tabulating the sk2 spree orders earlier, received a number of last min orders. for those who havent send in the order, i'm gonna extend the closing date to this weekend 9 may 10 ( sun) after which i will close all orders and will be collecting the stuffs the very week.

Miss me???

Yes, i'm back. As it turns summer in most parts of the world, the alr hot sg is turning into a bigger OVEN too! i've to keep drinking water so that the body remains cool. rem to do likewise too ya? Well, this time round, i had a great time shopping in Milan even though my batchie didnt make it there, kinda sad isnt it? I was so looking forward to meeting her and go crazy shopping with her, but she has to called it off as her husband was really sick for a looong time. well, in the end i did enjoyed myself and almost got myself lost in switzerland. Wat an adventure. LOL.

What a waste right? cuz Italy, not really safe place to go out alone and the people i'm here with is either not that happening or have an agenda. I so wanna go to the factory outlet alone, but doubt i can get back safely. LOL. better stay safe in my cosy little room, eat my fav pandan cake and watch my dramass.

Talking about drama, i caught Zhao You Ting ( same surname as me wor) on star awards, and fell in love with him all over again( i'm sounding like a teenage gal i know) . If u dont alr know who he is, go catch Pi zi ying xiong ( really good drama with zai zai, i kept asking the bf to watch, he refused, i think he's getting jealous. LOL) and ya Monga too. both really good stuff! :)

By now, u should know how much i love japan, their skincare, cosmestics, lingeries, clothings etc etc.

ramen???

I'm not talking about the usual ramen u find in ajinsen or any sakae sushi. Okay, i've tried ramen from most parts of Japan and the best i found is in Fukuoka. so in order to satisfied my cravings for ramen in sg, the bf and i been combing the city for good authentic ones. Till we found this...

it's by far the best i've tasted in sg, comparable ( but slightly better) to the one in Central.

and becuz his gal has all sort of cravings

just to have a meal that morning. But all is worth it :)

there are 3 things i look out for in a ramen.... soup base, the pork, and the egg ( i love the way japanese do their eggs) and ippudo's winning ingredient is the Pork, really tender and yummy, as good as the ones in Japan, soup is good too, but i still prefer the eggs from Central's, but overall, Ippudo's is better. That's my honest review :)

really great if u wanna give a couple of stuffs too a friend, just put them in, cover it up and send it. u dont even need to spend hours wrapping :)

That's used when i wanna give a small "goodie" bag to a friend, or some sweet for kids, they'll love it :)

I love these pop-up stickers, they can be used everywhere, to beautify my gifts, bling ur accessories etc. i use them at work too! when they is a need to write a birthday card for my colleagues or "customers" i always believe that if u want to give something, give them pretty, if not dont :)

Few days ago

Then in the middle of nowhere, we saw... THIS

robot-like looking machine and decided to check it out only to realise it's some self-help 3D machine, u know those roller coaster u get to ride without having to do thru hillssss and mountainsss

and so we decided to give it a try cuz we rarely, or rather dont take roller coasters at all. A little fact which u may not know. Both of us are extremely scare of HEIGHTS!!! i know that's pretty ironic if u know what i mean.

The machine is totally self-helped

In order to feel more exciting, we were literally screaming our lungs out inside the machine, in the middle of the mall, even though i dont think the ride was really "scary" N, unknowingly, our screamings attracted a whole lot of people. The once isolated machine was crowded with people when we stepped out. :)

AS PROMISED! MY SKIN CARE REGIME

Its really for skin care JUNKIE n i spent like 2 days typing it out.

This post will be all about what i use daily, FACE only. cuz it's already alot of products on that small area of skin :) u should know by now, i'm a fan of sk2 since 2 years ago, so u will be expecting alot of sk2 products featured. I'm not showing off cuz i'm using such expensive products, i do feel the pinch at times, but if i were to spend $100 on 10 bottles of $10 product, and after 10 months i'm still left with ugly, clogged, haggard face. dont u think it will be wiser to just spend $100 on 1 bottle of product and see effect in 1 month???

Afterall, it's time and result that matters isnt it?

why spend so much time n money on products that doesnt help at all.

Okay, that's my mentality, dont know about yourself.

N i dont mean the things that i'm using are the BEST, it's thru trial and error that i realised they suit my OILY and SENSITIVE skin.

I've dropped off some sk2 products that doesnt suit me too, and let u know what are those as i go on :)

To start off, I've to divided my daily practise into two groups, one i group is the things i will do in the morning and the other at night.

For the Night ( most of the products will be used here, cuz it will be better absorbed as the skin renews itself) i usually...

1) cleanse

2) exfoliate

3) vitalize ( with facial treatment essence)

4) anti age prevention

5) whitens

6) moisturise

7) masks

YES. that is the basic 7 steps i do, i know some may think it's overloading the skin, but so far so good, it covers all aspect that i'm concern of. N the skin doesnt outbreak from it too :)

As for the morning,

i will usually go light.

1) cleanse

2) vitalize ( with facial treatment essence)

3) moisturise

Just 3 steps :) But if i'm heading out i will continue with

4) BB cream / foundation

5) sunscreen

yay, that's all for skincare in the morning.

So with the overall view, i'm going to show u what i'm using and why.

For thorough cleansing day and night i use my sk2 facial treatment cleanser

this is my favourite cleanser, even the bf loves it.

It cleanses really well, removing all trace of dirt and doesnt leaves the skin dry nor tight.

Expensive but it's worth every dollar cuz the bottle is so full, a bottle usually last me ard 4 months :)

This is the new introduction to my regime- Nardia Laboratory exfoliator. It's one real good find for oily and clogs prone skin, i'm not kidding. chanced upon it when i was talking to my beautician during one of my regular session, i was asking her if there is anything that will reduce my clogs, cuz my skin clogs so often that i have to visit her every 2-3 weeks for maintainence. She then recommended that i use this gel exfoliator everynight, it's really mild, so u can use it daily. Now, my face is less oily, clogs less, and the best thing is my expensive products absorbed better after exfoliation everynight. It cost me like $40+sgd and i've just ordered my 2nd bottle:) This thing is like the usual marvel gel that sells in watsons, except that it's better i reckon, cuz i bought the green tea ginvera marvel gel ( at 10+sgd only, cheap) but the effect is just half as good as what i'm using :(

so after exfoliating, the skin will be all prepared to absrob all the goodness i'm going to introduce. Hence it's the best time i introduce my MIRACLE WATER!

with all the advertising going on, this should not be new to u ya? I tried this product many years ago ( when i was 19 ), it has total NO effect at all. N when i heard from a colleague 2 years ago that it actually helps in clogs ( i used to have very bad clogs on one side of my face) i was really skeptical. But at that point of time i was so depressed, so whatever may help i will try ( i've seen a doc, but it doesnt help much) N to my SURPRISED!!! it cleared my clogs!!! it does help in controlling oil n maybe provide other goodness too so i've been using it till now :)

My Facial Treatment Repair C Great in preventing the wrinkles ( i'm into my late twenties and is stepping up on anti aging), leaving u with clear, fair skin while injecting Vit C into ur skin. Texture is smooth, serum form, absorbs really quickly into the skin. Each bottle ( 30ml only) lasts me for like half a year? :)

is my fav product of the whole series. Cuz it lightens pigmentation, marks and acne scar really well, leaving me with clear skin, even when i get clogs on my face. it even out the tone so i wont get red red marks. a small bottle (30ml) can last me a long time, like 5-6 months? i use it only every night, if u use it day and night, it may deplete faster :)
well, at this moment, after seeing all those AURA commericals, i'm really tempted to try out the Cellillumination essence too, it look similar to this, but i guess it's a improved version. When i asked the salesgal, she told me the diff is dermdefinition whitenings wile cellillumination gives a clearer skin from within. when my stock finishes, i'll try out the cellillumination :)

I'm currently using these two...
Facial lift emulsion

and
Skin Signature

The Lift emulsion is a light weight moisturiser, that moisturises as it lifts ( they claimed) the skin and it doesnt leave me with the oily feeling, great for my extreme oily skin. As for Skin signature, it's a improved moisturiser, kinda have antiaging ingredients too, lighter weight then the emulsion i've to say. I got this in a gift package ( 5ml form) and love it. Gonna replaced the Lift emulsion to this after i've used it up. The good thing about Sk2 is that, it's constantly improving, moving in time to come up with what woman skin needs as it changes, unlike the previous brand which i use, it is stuck on to that 3 Steps ( u should know what brand) for like 1797098092 yearsss. lol. Well, with improvement also means more holes in the pocket too :)

Listen up gals with Oily skin!!!! and BIG pores!!!! like me

the primary reason is genes of cuz

and the secondary reason cuz ur skin is LACKING MOISTURE

The skin secretes more oil when ur skin on the surface is dry, so in order to stop the skin from producing more oil. U have to assure ur skin that it has ample moisture on the top layer, so rem to moisturise and MASK MASK MASK alot.

I read from a mag some years ago, Barbie Hsu commented that it's more effective to use drug store brands to mask everyday then to use a premium mask to mask only a month( economical too! ) cuz ur skin is constantly injected with moisture, isnt it so true? A little info is she uses 2 sheets mask in the day, and 2 at night. that makes it 4 masks a day. Just look at her crystal clear skin.

Well,

i'm currently using Laneige water sleeping pack

and some drugstore brand masks from korea. I alternate between them everynight and it's a MUST to do a sheet mask regardless day or night after work to replace the moisture lost.

The sleeping pack is an improved version , with the EX, Laneige has got sleeping pack introduced years ago, but the improved on doesnt contained any alcohol, and i reckon it's much better than the old one i tried. Best use if u are sleeping in an aircon room or cold weather, cuz it leaves my skin really supple the next day. A gal, who spree-ed it from me the other time, uses it every night and finish 1 bottle a month if u would like to know how long it depletes.

The rest of the time when i'm lazy to apply apply apply. i'll use put on a sheets mask and go to sleep, oh ya, rem to take it off after at most 20 min, cuz it will cause wrinkles if ur mask dries up n sticks on ur face :)

Okay, enough of all the skin caring before bed.

so what if i'm heading out??

Some cosmestics can make u beautiful and care for ur skin at the same time too.

If u wish to know, i've already replaced my expensive foundation with this BB cream ( aks blemish balm) It claims to whitening, provides spf25 while leaving the skin wrinkle free.

Specially designed for oily skin ( the hot pink bottle) it keeps the face matt, at least for half a day, but do rem to pat on some loose powder to let the effect last longer. I like the fact that it gives the skin goodness and provide a natural finish like ur own skin tone, of course the coverage isnt as great as normal foundation, but if u dont have very bad skin, u dont need very thick makeup, do u? It's the best selling bb cream in Korea and most part of the world but at this present moment, Skin79 is still not available in sg. The only way to get it in sg is thru sprees, but i reckon it's genuine cuz i checked some prices are cheaper than the ones i got from korea, and with the number of fake skin79 bb cream circulating around, u nv know what u ordered ?

At times when i need more coverage at work,
i'll use my sk2 whitening source transform foundation contains DMT Blocker, a combination of Vitamin C, Pitera and Niacinamide. The foundation helps to prevent the formation of new spots, while providing a perfect-looking finish. It's great for drier places and weather. Not really suitable for sg humid weather though if u have oily skin. So i've some stuffs that i use only in colder countries, it's a pity that they work great there but not here :(

Despite all the spf in the bb cream and foundation, i still think it's a must to apply a sunscreen, especially when i'm really scare of sun damage, pigmentations, u dont wan to risk having dark spots on that clear skin after all those money spent on clearing and whitening the skin ya?
I use
OHUI powder sunscreen spf 50+

We often read that we have to reapply sunscreen after a few hours out in the sun, but with all the foundations, and makeup on, how are we suppose to reapply the creamy sunscreen on top? remove the makeup? so, many will just leave it as it is. I love the fact that this sunscreen allow me to reapply anytime and anywhere i like, as it comes with a attacthed mirror, looks really cool too! I believe Ohui is one of the few that started this sunscreen powder. As usual, it's not available in sg yet. I've seen Etude house carrying something similar the last time i went to korea, u gals may check it out if u are interested but it's tinted( like foundation color) and i reckon it's not as good.

there are many more products which i use/ have too. But i dont use them as frequent as those introduced, some may be for weekly/ monthly treatment or as and when i need them.

Much said, my complexion is not perfect or even half as good as those born with really good genes. But well, i think hardwork pays, so keep reading, trying and exploring yourself :)

i didnt do much over my last trip to london, all i wanted was rest

so i spent only half the day out- combing the nearby mall. But it was HUGE though.

Luggage packing

i'm leaving for the London eye tml morning!

been putting off my luggage packing till just now.

So in order to motivate myself to get into action, i've decided to blog about my regular packing habits. I've been doing this like so frequently that it has become a habit, and i believe everyone has their own way of doing it. If u are taking too long to do ur packing, maybe u can take a look at THIS.

i completed my packing in 30min if u need to know.

To kick off, i will usually check the weather one day before my trip.

Cuz weather in some countries are just so weird it can fluctuates a few times daily, so in order not to under or over pack. i'll try to make sure i get the weather as accurate as possible.

okay, i've all those saved under my favorites- Travel.

Things like exchange rates, weathers, some online changer rates- eg Mustafa, translators are pretty helpful before u set off.

back to weather

typed in ur destination and u are good to go :)

with all the expectated weather and temperatures in mind

i'm all set to pack the suitable clothings.

To me 6-13 degrees is pretty cold, cuz i'm really weak i can say

so usually i'll try to pack in as much clothings that is easier for me to layer,

Not too thick but more pieces, so u can guage on ur own how much to wear when u are there.

alright, so those are my 4 stacks of clothings ransacked from the wardrobe.
two stacks are for the cold weather outside
one stack for sleeping, and the last one for the gym :)
i try to make an effort to hit the gym everyday if i'm not heading out to the places of interest
or the weather does not allow me to.

this is like my must have during winters
i love the look of leggings with boots
but in order to keep warm, u've got to find thicker ones, those with cotton inside.
i reckon u cant find it in sg though.
and all these will go into my cool MUJI bag
throw in a pair of boots and gym shoes and ill all settled with the clothings

oh...not forgetting those coats that keeps me warm too.

i dont usually buy alot of coats, cuz there are really a hassle, taking up a lot of space, well, got those cool ones from Japan most of the time. u got to check them out if u are heading there.

Well, the Kettle is new, all thanks to Pat, i lost ( isnt it a norm alr?) my old one somewhere out in the world and was searching high and low for a small afforadable (in case i lose it again) one till Pat found it for me in one of the Gaint store.

For those who know me well enough should know that i'm constantly in hunger.

so much so that i'm starting to question if there is worm in my stomach lately

i had sandwiches breakfast 8am, left home work

Lor mee lunch at 12 noon, normal ya? but i already freaking hungry by the time.

back home at 430pm, had noodles

and guess what?

by 7pm i'm hungry again!

Well, i just finished my dinner, and it's 730pm now. the only way to stop me from eating again should be to sleep like NOW!

Anyone has the same problem too????

just got back from boiler with mad n cousins, okay, i was there for like less than an hour.

it has been a long time since i last stepped into a club and i am totally uneasy about it. Plus the fact i couldnt drink much, i guess i just have to leave early, sorry gals.

i'm back! hugging my fav country, love the warm warm weather :)

had a great trip with my shopping, eating, cum sleeping buddy.

yes. we SLEPT tog for a week. jealous? lol.

havent worked for like 2 weeks, damn shiok.

But i'm missing work abit though, cuz my waist line is expanding and i much needed those "exercises" at work :)

alright, in my last entry i promised u some pretty pictures
but there are like so many of them, so i decided i'll just concentrate on Myeong Dong, where i stayed. This place may not be new to ppl who has been there before,
but well, i think it's still worth sharing cuz it's too beautiful to resist.

walking along the streets of myeong-dong, okay i call it the beauty hub
you get to see rows n rows of shops all clustered tog
with tons of shoppers ( esp on weekends) looking for their "miracles" to enhance on their appearance. be it cosmetics, skincare, clothings, accessories.... u name it they have it.

N it's not difficult to spot the local beauty brands, cuz it's all over the streets Okay, that's faceshop. Not new to you ya?Then we have this Tony Moly, a brand that is not available in sg yet. Okay, i dont really know what they are selling inside, cuz i thought the salegals are pretty scary. Everytime i walk pass the store, they will be literally DRAGGING me in, n the more u wanna drag, the more i refuse to get in. so that explains...Laneign. Pretty goog for their water sleeping pack ( the one i spree-ed), yogurt masks etc. have gotten a new makeup primer this trip, it is suppose to control sebum ( i've really oily skin), heard much raves about it. shall review if it's good.

Then that's skin food, isnt the building pretty? Hanskin, a popular BB cream brand. Their products are like a class higher than the normal brands like faceshop. N of course the price is "nicer" too, but regardless of that, i still feel that it's worth the money, cuz of the premium quality of the products. Tried the BB cream myself, have to say it's really not bad for winter climate :)Aritaum. That's my fav shop. it does not have a brand itself, it's just some kind of sasa shop selling many brands altog. service is really good, or at least for my own encounters n the gals ( and guys) are pretty generous with their samples n gifts too :)

Next, we have innisfree.

products are comparable to those of skinfood, etude house (shit i deleted the picture of the beautiful shop accidentally). I esp like their oxygen mask, u know the one nu ren wo zhui da intro-ed? the bubble bubble thingy. i tried both n it's like similar. The only diff is, the one from innisfree cost 10+sgd ( in korea la) and the taiwan version cost close to 100sgd!!!

Okay, that's another Innisfree shop. these brands has like 2-4 shops just in myeong dong itself. N u can see them all over Seoul, in bus station, train stations. literally EVERYWHERE!Banila Co. They have pretty pink thingy inside, but havent tried cuz i dont like the fact that the uses angmo to endose their products. yes, i'm that picky. lolOur usual Missha, the brand as far as i know has withdrew from sg sometime ago. N lately because of the raves for their BB cream ( see the pic, so big a bottle!) someone has mentioned it kinda reappeared in sg. like only one store or something, in orchard.It's skin.

my usual Hilton is fully booked. N the lucky thing was... i did a smart move annd got this hotel with superb location.

Took a nap after the tired flight and intended to start a little dinning n shopping that afternoon.

to cut the story short, Pat occincidentally got a seoul, n i occincidentally coming on that day

n he occindentally flew us here, n i OCCINIDENTALLY met him here and made him bring back 3HUNDRED N SIXTY maskssssss! lol.

omg! so it rained like the whole of my first day. N with the wet weather, it was really difficult to walk around outdoor. It make things worse with the thick clothings we have to wear. So we kinda stayed indoor the whole day.

So all we did was ....
